Hmmm... that'* a different motor...in fact, that'* damn near an impossible firing order, even with massive offsets on the crank journals.

oreilly'* auto parts said the same as autozone - 1-4-6-3-2-5

they are looking this stuff up on their work computers so i cant see it being wrong

next step, get a fricken mirror and see if the coils are labeled..

the coil pack in on the front of the motor UNDER the exhaust manifold, genius!

WHOA...Wait a sec, what Autozone is telling you is the sequence of the plug wires on the coils, NOT the firing order!!! And that wiring works on the 3.4L motor too... theres no difference in the two terminals on a coil pack, they both fire at once! so having the plug wires for 3 and 6 reversed on the middle coil does no harm at all (unless it causes you a problem for the length of the plug wire!)

thanks for clearing that up curt... i guess i was asking for the wrong thing on here..

when i talked to the parts stores i explained to them what the situation.. so i know they were giving me the coil to spark plug numbers...

im going to go off the 1-4-6-3-2-5

nevermind the firing order business

yup.. definately in the wrong order from the previous owner... he had some red and some black so thats why i am assuming that

the car runs like a dream now... the 3.4L is just as peppy as i remember it when i test drove a Z34 back when i was 16... fastest NA i have ever drove.. easily comparable to the s1 L67

check In Motion for some videos
