Just disconnect the exhaust from the headers and go.... It'* free and it'll sounds mean

My friend has the Borla Cat-Back single outlet exhaust on his 99 tahoe and it sounds really mean (partially because of above meantioned free mod) It is nice sounding and with the exception of the slightly larger tip, it looks relatively stock. He currently is running a parially disconnected mid-pipe thanks to a snowbank. Not sure if they have the unit for the 95, but if you got vortec manifolds as suggested above, then I would assume they'd fit.

The vortec manifolds will bolt up to the stock piping. But the Borlja kits are year and model specific I believe. I think all borlja'* are cat back systems aren't they?

I've got a buddy with a tahoe running duel exhaust with 3" pipes. sounds pretty decent when he tropse on it. One of my other friends has an older K1500 with i wanna say 2" pipes. give 'er gas and she rapps like a sonovagun.

This is so funny!!! You used to have a 1992 SSEi like me, and now you're driving your dad'* 95 suburban, which my dad also has a 95 suburban. Too ironic. Anyways, 1995 was the last year of the old tech 5.7 V8 before they started using the Vortech 5.7 V8, which was a step up in performance. We have a K&N replacement stock filter, which helped a little, but as you prob. know, not that much. In addition to the upgaded filter we also have a IMCO cat back dual exaust system. It sounds REALLY good, IMO. It'* a mellow yet throaty sound.
