I asked my mom if I could join chess club, and she said i'm a nerd.. because of that? What'* wrong with chess club? Somebody please clarify this.

There is nothing wrong with playing chess. I play chess every now and then. It is fun because it is strategy and you have to think in order to out maneuver your opponent. I was always one of the "cool" kids and never considered a nerd. However, if you wear a pocket protector we will have to give you a hinder binder (at least that'* what I did to the nerds I went to school with)

It'* okay, dude. Chess is actually a tough game

And, in High School, I was a member of the SciFi Club (obvious nerdage) and the Chivalry club (aka D&D Nerds)

But now, I have redeemed myself! I have seen the greater glory and become a respected memebr of the Bonneville Club!!!

Wait... That just makes me a car nerd, huh?

I think you are in mighty fine company here!! Although this site is cool and most of the members are just as cool. No nerds here.

haha, yeah its awesome. I was talking to all my friends, and a good part of them are joining. Although that is only 2 people, i'm going to whoop their *** . Anyways.. yeah my mom is just crazy, and my girfriend is just jelous loL

That sounds like a good idea, except the beating part . I'm pretty good IMO, in my channel one class [stupid news thing before lunch] we play chess [several groups], and there is one senior in my class that can beat me everytime, and I usually get pretty close to beating everyone else [class is only 25 minutes long]. I should teach her to play though, kick *** idea!
