Nice car. The LS was one of my top choices. We drove an Autumn Red 2003 V8; man was that a nice ride! Very nice interior, the cooled seats were awesome. But the fact it has Jaguar parts scared me off. They don't seem to have a great rep, but from what I researched, they are pretty good cars. But I know that no matter how well rated a car is, I'll have problems with it, so I didn't want to have a car that would cost large $$ to fix. That and I decided I didn't want to spend an extra $500 a year on gas with the lower mileage and premium (15K+ miles a year). Good luck with it.

FYI, the previous V6 was 220 HP, but only 215ft-lbs of torque, while the '94 SSEI is 225 and 275. So of course it won't keep up. But then Bonneville'* have one of the best HP to Torque ratios, so not much with similar horsepower will keep up.

we almost got an LS, V8 with the sport shift thingy, we looked at sveral and the last one we did was when dad found out it was RWD and decided not to do it cu mom would be driving it mainly and winter would suck

Those Lincoln LS will out handle a BMW 540i........amazing for the size. Night and day difference from the Bonneville I bet.
