Got one about 6 months ago so Katie couldn't keep losing the remote. Paid 16 for it then. They're $9.99 now. :(

That'* exactly what they're for.

On the packages it says" the remote you're never going to lose" or something along those lines. I saw it at bed bath & beyond and had a good laugh when I saw it.
