Where'd you go Bandit? How come every time I log onto the chat room people run away?

It'* not you, a lot of users in the chat room upon leaving will simply close thier browser window and not log off before they do.

What happens is most of them have old versions of Java which doesn't support the "logoff on close" script so when they close thier browser nothing is sent to the server indicating a browser close so the chat room script thinks they are still there.

When another user logs in the message is sent to everyone in the chat room and if there is no response from a user the chat room script will auto log them off giving the appearance they disconnected just as you got there.
