So, My new cellphone got here today, And I got the USB Data kit, so I can type my addressbook in on a real keyboard, But it doesn't work. And I think the support Alltel has is retarded.
It'* a Kyocera Candid KX16, with the data kit Alltel gave me. I followed the instructions to a T. You install USB drivers, Plug the cord to the phone then the PC, Then install the Software, Then it'* supposed to work.
I plug the phone to the PC and windows tells me that it found the phone, it found a modem, then the some hardware is installed incorrectly. Nothing works.
What did I do wrong? (aside from Alltel and Kyocera of course)

once you plug it in right click on my computer got to > properties > hardware >device manager
then look for an exclamation mark or somthing right beside your phone..double click on it and go to the driver tab...hit update driver then chose where your driver is on the cd that came with it
