The kitty may grow on you! I was really, REALLY leery of our kitten when we first got her. I was going to raise her for three weeks, have her spayed, and put her back outside once she could fend for herself (she'd been abandoned by her catmom and was starving and very sick).

She just turned two, and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

As many of you probably remember I adopted Maggie early this year. She is the greatest cat ever. Very affectionate, greets me at the door when I get home,lays with me everynight, follows me everywhere, she'* just great!

yeah im still really leery about the fleas, i gave her a flea bath last night.....i got scratched all to hell but i feel a little bit better as we live in an apartment and the last thing we need is fleas :( but shes a little black cat. shes only 9 weeks old and she slept on my head all night last night, i still dont know whether i like her yet but my girl always does the "daddys home" thing too, she is kinda amusing when she runs across the room and pounces waterbottles or random socks. i might get used to it...i just dont want fleas lol

If they stay inside, they are much less likely to get fleas.

Vet told me the fleas are brought in by humans. The fleas cling to out clothes outside then jump to the animals inside.

We got our cat from the neighbours, O'Neil says I am a cat burglar He didn't like living at his old house because the girlfriend moved in and she had a dog, and well Max does not share and play well with others. He likes to be master of all he surveys! Here he gets spoiled rotten and the kids play with him and we give him loves. He is a happy cat.

Makes me miss my Ginger more and more...

I never really wanted a cat. Not that I didn't like them, I just prefered dogs. Now I have too many cats; but I could never give any of them up. The do kind of grow on you.
