Man I been wondering about a second car and and if Crown Vics got 30 MPG I would get one.

Is the 3.1 known to be durable in general? Some people claim to get 200,000 miles off an Intrepid but they usually dont reach 100,000. 3.1 getting tons of mles the norm?

theyre durable when well taken care of, we had our fair share of problems with it (fuel pumps 4 i think, crank sensor 3x, trans blew at 120k, but overall it still got us around for yearrrssssss )

not all of us have the luxury of getting low mileage cars and are stuck with what we have, that lumina was my grandfathers car and then it was my moms, and even with 321k it still drove very well, a ball joint was going bad but other than that it still hauled some respectable *** :P
