When I worked as the Parts Manager at the local AMC dealer back in 1977 or so, a middle-aged lady traded in a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible (she had bought new) for a new Gremlin! (gas crunch days) It was a totally original car,Metallic Blue with a white bucket interior, four speed with the 440/375hp, Ram Air hood and Dana rear. The Dealership owner sold it to me for $150.! I enjoyed it for a year or so, the 440 V8 always ran flawlessly. I sold it to a buddy for $300 to move to Calif. The car is long gone now, and the fact that fewer than 500 were made keeps me kicking myself in the Butt!! My first Muscle car, and the one that got away~

1967 Camaro, it had some rust issues, but was a running driving car. Ended up trading it for a 72 blazer that was a piece of crap and ended up selling that for 500 bucks.

I picked up a 90 Maxima from nagel79 for $50. I sold it for $70.01, and the buyer put $46 of parts into it before he sold it for $750. That was a terrible sale.

maybe not me, but my dad
1984 Monte Carlo SS White with red strips, and lettering on Gray, 350 4 speed. MY parents ordered the car and watched it come off the trailer at the dealer
sold it in the winter of 93 with less than 500 miles on it, it was a show and sunday car ONLY. One of the local dealers now has it in his personal collection

my mom had a blue 73 Mustang Fastback with a 351, she traded that for a Pinto (to this day me and my sis still can't believe she did that, but she isn't even close to being a car nut)
