Is it tan, or taupe? My 03 is taupe and if you stare at it long enough it starts to look somewhat light grey, especially since the steering wheel and trim are grey. I prefer the grey (actually called pewter) interior, but it'* trimmed out in black and seems a little dark. The taupe has grown on me and I like it - especially in the summer.

I hated my tan interior on my 00, especially going from the charcoal interior in my 95. However, it has grown on me, and the custom leather helps

I think just becasue of the taupe interior its going to turn me away though. I am sure I can find one similar to that with the pewter interior just might have to wait a little longer.

You know, I've seen some other cars where someone didn't like the tan interiors, and got select pieces from JY cars and made some really nice two-tone combos....I'm thinking about doing that after the repaint to match the interior to the new exterior layout...

Besides, once you get used to tan, a black/graphite interior starts to feel cave-like...

I may I may, even with the famous BMW expensive repair bills.

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/570482884.html

I have been talking to him back and forth he even has maintance records for it and such.

If I can get him to 9k or 9.5k I may get it. Who knows

Even at 11k that thing is worth easy 15-17k

Yeah the BMW 7 series is a huge step up from a bonneville but I would not get a v12 car as a run around car. That SSEI looks promising.
