Carfax?

can someone run a VIN for me? I trying to find out if some of the minor recals on my truck where handeled already or not. PM me if you can help me out. Thanks!

Call the dealership where you bought it from.

just left the salesman a message asking about it. not sure what he can tell me though (and i'm not sure how much i can trust a used car salesman... :? )

Any GM dealership for that matter should be able to tell you. I'd trust the dealership more than Carfax anyway. You could also call GM customer service.

so of course, and GM dealer that performed the recall work would have a record of it, no matter where it was done at, but they don't have to report it? i thought that dealers had to... Hmm. good to know. kind of makes carfax seem rather trival then doesn't it...
