Default Carfax

Anyone ever purchased a car after getting the carfax done and down the road you noticed something wrong with the car that should have been on the carfax?
Well, after I pulled my trans and engine I cleaned the whole bay area with degreaser and the other day I noticed that the frame was re-welded at the joints. Now, this could mean only one thing right?

Carfax had 11 accident reports on the Chrysler when we got it, bought it from the original owner, never been wrecked. I don't trust Carfax.

my old SSE was in 3 accidents that I collected money from ranging from $500-$2800 and the carfax was clean on the car. Itis usually good to verify mileage, and to see if it was totalled.
