I was out on the sled yesterday and saw this. Needless to say, I stayed back when I took the pic. Form the looks of the water and ice, it happened right before I got there. It was 14* F uphere yesterday and if the ice isn't hard enough here, then I am guseeing the same applies in the lower 48.

I always had a thing about being on a frozen lake. I hear all of the stories about how people, even pets get stuck and fall in and die. Since a little kid, I never, never go out on the ice ever!! I dont even allow my son on the ice for the same reasons.
