so, how young is too young to get a kid started on washing your car? by the time the kids like, 10, i want it to be ingrained as part of the chores. but how young to start them out? maybe make it fun from age 4 on by doing it with them, then when they get to 8 start making them do it?

i washed my parents vehicles all the time as a kid though

My son has been helping me since he was 4 years old. He has his own wash mit for doing the wheels. I let him rinse off the car till he gets tired of the work which is usually
10 to 15 minutes. We both have a great time.

It is not always about perfection. We are trying to raise a 6 year old and sometimes mom'* need a break during the weekend.


It is just too much fun in the summertime when it does not matter of you get wet in the process if you know what I mean.

I cant even get my son to clean his room let alone my Car!! He'* going to be 12 in April!!
