Default car laptop holder

this little device made it'* debut at Bob'* (dillcc) get together. Like I said, not much time went into this, even to the point of not measuring. The bent tube is to long, so I put it as far back on the mount as possible, then put the table on the tube as far back as possible, hence the extra mounting point under the table.

plans for the finished version is to have the table top disemble from the base without having to unbolt the seat, yet leave no trace of itself. I already know how I am going to do it. It also will have 2 table positions, 1 for the driver and 1 for the passenger. Instead of scaping it, this one will be given away.

how stable is it does it bounce around at all ?? I'm going to start working on one for my monster 17" soon. I'll just do a quick release near the floor board so i can quickly remove it

look into ram-mount for quick relase laptop mounts http://www.ram-mount.com/
Their stuff is definately quality

sonoma_zr2: definately creative, although I dont think I would want one that doesn't adjust

it is suprisingly stable. of course, there was some bounce, but nothing that would concern me

those cannot be quickly removed without removing the seat. with my final design , the table will be removable with no tools, and anyone looking inside will not see anything . There isnt alot of room for adjustments, that is why I am just designing for driver and passenger use and full pass seat movement.

Looks good Travis, I'd be interested in your notes/ideas and to see it come together.
