OK... some may think they are ugly... i really dont care what it looks like.
So besides the looks would it be a good bet to go with an Aztek?

Trailblazers are crap. In fact, all GM sport utes save for the Denali and Escalade are crap. They look crappy on the outside, look crappy on the inside, and drive crappy.

It'* rather expensive, but I love Grand Cherokees. My family has owned 5, including a 5.9 Limited (360 ci, still have), 4.7 HO, and now a 5.7 Limited. They're great vehicles (save for a rear-axle pinion bearing problem in the 5.9), luxurious, and FAST (for a sport-ute). I've lit up several decent imports with the Hemi. They are HORRIBLE with gas mileage, however...

I say go with a Trailblazer. I like them, they are stylish, and comfy inside. Either that or go with an Explorer. They are nice also.

I nearly bought an 03 Trailblazer before I decided on my Bonne. Good luck finding one with acceptable miles and options for less than 10k, all I found where 13-15K minimum with about 60K.

I decided that the LS was about as cheesy as they come, interior wise...hard seats with crazy swirly patterns in the cloth...yuck. Reminded me of a 97 Neon interior. I liked the room, and the options on the LT where a little nicer, and the interior cloth was toned down....a little. Overall is was comfy and decently powerful considering, but I'm happy I bought the Bonne Instead. If I where to consider one again, I'd only look at the LTZ models.

trailblazers/envoys are good, both my dad and uncle have them and they have ha ZERO problems in 3 years each.

and are for you Grand Cherokees, sure there ok, but sitting in a concreat box would be more comfortable then one of those Chrysler has by far the WORST interiors on the market!

I voted Trail Blazer. Mostly because I don't care for the looks of the Aztek. I had a buddy with a 'tek and then traded for a Rendezvous. I'd say the Rendezvous was a little nicer. But if you get an Aztek it should be yellow!!!!

Slimpee, wanna give me that 5.9?

Not at all. I'd like to keep it in the family and either a. drive her till she breaks, b. build her into a mean trail vehicle, or c. rebuild and modify the engine, lower her a little and make her a "poor man'* Jeep SRT8"

Don't worry about breaking...my experience says it won't be long. As for GM being crap.. Also my experience..they are faster, quieter and the trucks can take a load while the Dodgeball is scraping it'* back bumper on the ground.

I'm not trying to start a debate...the one sideness of that first comment kinda got my faster chevy side rolling.

We've had very good luck w/ the Grands except the 5.9 axle problems. It sucks because the axles themselves, Aluminum housing D44s, are flawed. That thing did it'* share of wheeling and is running perfectly w/ 115K right now.
