Default Camera Gurus.. Help needed!

My Nikon 8700 has become possessed. I can't change any settings on it because when I go into a menu the camera will constantly scroll through the menu options so fast you cannot chagne anything, or the menu will just exit. The camera also will not stop focusing non-stop. It focuses constantly to the point that you can't take any pictures with it really because they'll be out of focus.. any ideas? A video below shows what it'* doing.. Note that I'm nto even touching the camera when it'* doing that!

That'* what I thought too at first, but all the buttons work fine, and the only button that can make the button scroll like that has nothing to do with the camera focusing. I'm stumped.

Did you leave in your car with no A/C. Maybe it had a heat stroke. I had a new Nikon and liked it alot. But it just couldnt swim.

Might be a software issue. Anything in the manual about doing a hard reset or something? If that don't work, try and find a photo forum. Here'* one that I am a member of.
