It was a joke!! Sheesh! :shake:

I've talked to Sol about his stuff before, he's cool about it. I knew Jason would get the joke (or thought I did!). Ah, well, misunderstandings happen. On with the sillieness that is the lounge... :)

For the price, Sony has the best CCD's, and the best optics. Bar none.

I know you say price don't matter...but it does....
You can spend $100 on a camera.....or Thoundsands!!!

I would say...for your all around good camera...
Camera...extra batteries, flash card,etc,
Around the $500 mark is where you'll end up.
I own a Canon...few years old now....and love it...
I give my vote to the Canon.
But you need to look at a few things...
What do you like to take pictures of?
Indoors outdoors?
Are you in need of a user friendly camera?
Size.....very important....shirtpocket...pants pocket....coat pocket...duffle bag size

As these guys and gals post there personal preferences....go to this site below...check them out....
It has reviews....sample photos and product details...

Take your time.....get your money's worth......
Good luck on your quest!

Hey whisky98, make sure you check out the spring meet in Toronto. I'm planning it, and we're stopping in wisconsin to meet up with everyone. Lots of use for a camera then
