You make it sound like you personally negotiated this.

If it wasn't FSBO, a realtor had to have been involved.

Here is how it happened. I told my realtor to put in an offer for 195 with couches she did then called me back with the results I actually asked her what I should do and she said that is all up to me. So I gave her another offer. Yes there was realtors in the middle but they dont make the offers for you.

Edit: are you talking about the couch situation? The reason I did that was to have another variable in the buying. So if we get down to the needy grity I could use the couches also. Something like what car dealers do when someone comes in with a trade in.

Grats Vince!
I know how bad not finding the perfect house can be... Brenda wanted a Dining Room and I wanted a two car garage; both of which are rare in the area we wanted to get into for a ranch style home. 7 Years later we find the perfect house. We had almost settled a few times prior, mainly me giving up the 2 car garage dream, but both those fell thru thankfully. On one we actually offered more than their asking price and they took the house off the market right after getting it; that very day. I never did learn why.

So now I have a two car garage and still not enough room left to park a car in there. LOL

I do!! Its big enough to bring in the engine and work on it though. Plus it has its own A/C so when its 120 out I can bring in the engine and work on it there.
