Just thought I would post to say that Murdock (Drifter) and I are putting in an offer for a house tonight. It'* a cute little bungalo with a wrap around deck and hopefully we'll get it our first house together.

well, if they accept the offer, it should be a straight move-in job. The only thing it really "NEEDS" is a bigger tub! It'* just a tiny little 4 foot or so tub so no fun baths :( Going to probably wind up putting a shower stall in there.
Things we WANT to do: Move the hot water tank and furnace to the garage, and get a stackable washer/dryer in there. I forgot to mention it'* a double lot and fully fenced. It'* got 1/2 an acre of land. The people who have it aren't really in a rush to sell it and we are offering about $12k less than they're asking. So, if they don't take it, no big deal. I saw a few new listings that just came out that I would be interested in taking a look at as well if we don't get this one. No rush for us, we don't have a house already so we don't need to worry about getting out before our closing date or having them align.
