Well, I did get stuck with no load home on Friday. Blew a set of duals at the yard I was delivering to, and by the time the tire guy got the new ones on, my backhaul had been reassigned, so I got stuck in Sacramento. Dropped rrounds a line, and we got together on Saturday. I had one quick errand to run, so we hopped in the Bonnie and took off.
(Holy crap, does that 3" exhaust sound sexy! And the giant snorkus under the hood is slightly ridiculous, but it obviously works very, very well...) Any way, errand completed, we headed over to an ice cream place he used to go to al the time and had some good chili, and some excellent shakes. Spent about an hour talkking about cars, idiots and the poor state of our country'* educational system.
After that he had to go help someone move, so he droppedm e back at the truck after another round of BSing in the parking lot. Took a picture, but forgot the adaptor for my phone'smemory card, so I'll have to wait until I get home to post it...

Was the ice cream place Farrel'* by chance?
