It is an image, but does change with the computer. I have tried it in different locations and the IP does match and the OS and browser does match. It was different computers with different OS versions on them. ( work and home).

Its a clever little thing isn't it. The file...if you save the image is vipersng.png or something like that.

Interesting conversation piece for sure.

Hee hee.. under closer inspection.. id does give the ip addy.. however it always says I"m running on IE 5.. well nah nah.. I"m on IE6 on three different machines and they all say it'* IE5.. hahaha.. must've PINGED the PONG number... hahahaha

Time for some correct info.

This image is generated by a server side script. YOU are the only person that can see this info. If it'* inaccurate it'* very probable you are behind a gateway of some sort, and/or a proxy.

.png stands for "portable network graphic" I don't even know where you came up with that seeing as the image is a jpg anyways.

It'* entertaining to know how easy it is to gather information. And the amount of info and files that can be obtained from a Windows system and an IP is astounding.

that'* true burgundy! i released and renewed my ip address and it changed! u little bugger , burgandy. when i signed up for bonneville club , i was going through alot of posts, anyways i must have been sitting there for hours , going through posts. so about 4:00 am . i get to one of ur helarious kill stories , scrolling down untill i hit ur little teaser there man was i ever shocked . i was like :SOMEBODY IS HACKING IN MY F$#^%$%^ COMPUTER !!
