I can tell ya from working for FrozenCPU.com for a year and working with those Peltier'*

Just a normal Fan Heat sink will not work well in cooling the Hot side of the Peltier. it wont work that good and might start on fire or just die...

uhh yeah just hooking one of those up with a 9volt gets them very hot. Thats a nice fire hazard that guy just built.
