Buick LaCrosse
I'll take one
245HP 3.6L NA. think the GM is finally trying to get more out of there engines with out boosting them. Not only does that engine not take the premiun fuel but it has more HP than the Series II */C
slap a M90 or better yet a M 112 hybrid on that bad boy....wwwwhhhhheeeeeeee

I really like the styling of that car, which is more than i can say for new pontiacs...
I dunno, if i were buying a new one, i'd be lured by the dependability of the proven 3800...its got more torque as well

Suprizingly, the LaCrosse goes from 0-60mph in 8 sec. flat. I would have expected low 7s. I guess that just goes to show that torque is what makes a car fast. I've heard countless numbers of times that the 3800 series II supercharged will out perform the 300hp Northstar.
The Northstar would get stomped by a */C SII 3800.. if they both have 300,000 miles on the original engine/tranny. I drove my Aunt'* Aurora.. and it pulled.. it was a beast. My Bonneville is nothing compared to that, sadly :(.

I'll take a La Crosse over the Regal 3800 Personally. Gorgeous cars! Torque might get you off the line, bu the second you get into your HP range @ wot, your transmission keeps you there.
Thats why a 275HP GXP pulls away from L67'* on the highway

Or do you mean that the 3.6 is lacking on the bottom end?
