thats the 2nd bug i have ever seen like that....

and the tar stuff...belive me we hav tried to get it off....mom ran through very freshly paved road....like she was the first one through after they removed the cones....dad tried just about everything...pressure washing actually riped the paint off the fender on one side

It is a Cicada

Have you ever heard a very loud buzzing noise in mid summer. They hang out in high trees and are much louder than crickets.

Oh and the tar on the paint can be easily removed using a bit of varsol on a rag or spaying it liberally with WD-40.

it probaly stuk a hole in the tire....and it will leak very slowly :?

Yep. Cicadas are going nuts here too this summer. But I like it. They're cool looking bugs, and they freak The Missus out. Loads of fun!!
