I still think it is hilarious that in Winnipeg the cost is $7.00 for the cold weather. And the charge seems to be for children under 12. Wonder what the cost is for adults?

I saw 4 cars stalled on the side of the road this morning on a 40 mile ride through the country. They were fairly new vehicles. Musta had alot of unmaintained cooling systems.

Poor-Poor me. My crew has been up in Devils Lake, North Dakota (where the only stories that leave the town are of big fish and bitter cold). Yesterday I had to stand on a flatbed semi trailer directing a back-hoe that was unloading reels of 2" interduct for the start this springs Phase 2 of Devils Lake'* Fiber To The Home project. Windchills were -45*F when we started and by the time we finished it was -55*F windchill factor.
So since the big boss was running the back hoe (reason for using the back-hoe was because the forklift wouldn't start -turned out the in-line fuel filter was plugged) he decided to shut the job site down until Monday so I got to come home last night -WOO-HOO!!!! A little short on hours this week though -26 hrs. :(

Forecast for today in Devils Lake, ND -30F with windchills exceeding -80*F.
