Default Browser Locks Up

My firefox keeps locking up. Seems pretty random, I can't narrow it down to any action. Sometimes I am just reading an article and it locks; other times it is when I am on BC or on facebook...what ever. I can't find a pattern.

So I got sick of it and deleted firefox. Now IE does it too. I don't know if it did it before, because I never needed to use IE.

I did a virus scan, nothing....what should I do next?

First of all get the newest versions of both browsers and keep your cache and cookies clear.
I 've been clearing both of mine at least once a day lately

Hmm, Willie was just complaining about his FF 2 locking up on him. It'* probably a semi-common error. I'd get the latest nightly build if I were you

I've got 1.5.0.8 and keeping the cache clean helps
