Default Broken Collar Bone, but team is 4-0

Well, some may have noticed in my my signature that i am on the JV football team for my highschool. I start at tight end on offense and inside linebacker on defense. Last night we had our fourth game. After the first quarter we were down 0-6. Soon after the 2nd quater started we drove 75 yards and scored a touchdown. I am also on the kickoff team. During the kickoff i was running down the field and collided with a guy from the other team (the first time i dominated his a$$ and decked him), this time when we collided his shoulder pads hit me square in the collar bone area. My arm went numb, and then soon after, some of the worst pain i have ever felt. I decided to stay on the sidelines with some ice on it. We won the game 37-34 with a 70 yard drive in the last 1:30. After the game i went to the emergency room(after driving through McDonald'*) and got my shoulder/collar bone x-rayed. Turns out it cracked all the way throught, now i am out 6-8 friggin weeks, and the rest of the season. Well at least our team finised strong.

Haha, yea, thanks guys. Our team is ranked number one in our division right now. Hopefully the varsity can stick with it(they're 3-1) and get into the playoffs.

ah, I know what a broken collar bone can feel like. I was born with one that never grew together so any pressur that is put on it hurts like a ****. Weight lifting in highschool was especially bad when doing squats because it would put pressure on my shoulder. Because the bone never grew together there is an inch and a half or more gap between the two peices of bone. The peice closest to my neck curves upward and can be seen slightly making a little rise in my skin, the second half curves downward so it really can't be fixed. It really doesn't give me too many problems other than the fact that the motion in my arm is messed up (I can't throw worth crap) and I can't have any heavy weight on my shoulder or play any contact sports. One positive aspect of it all though is that I can never be drafted into the army.

anyway, enough about me! I hope you a speedy recovery and make sure you take it easy for a while!
