it goes thru frame by frame. it shows a clear change in direction of the lady, i think it was between 8-9th frame

It has to change direction to look like it'* spinning. That'* the point. Because the perspective never changes on any part of it, it can look like it'* spinning in either direction. If you saw the straight on shadow of a spinning triangle, you wouldn't know for sure which way it was spinning.

Bandit. I'm still not sure what you are getting at. As far as I'm concerned, it'* no trick, simply the way an individual observes the "rotation". Some will only view it counter clockwise, some will only view it clockwise, and some will see both. Like I said, I had a friend stand behind me and he would see it turning clockwise when I would see it turning counter clockwise. Exact same image, exact same time.
