Default BP stops oil from gushing

BP has finally been successful in capping the oil well and stopping the spill into the gulf. The answer was in front of them the whole time. How did they do it? BP put a wedding ring on it and it stopped putting out

....Was Funny!. Hopefully it will hold until the new bores reach the well and can mudjack enough cement in to seal it. What a Blessing for the Gulf Coast and let'* hope the weather doesn't slam them with more opf the goo. I doubt if a lesson has been learned though. Elected Officials are unbelievably lobbying to not shut down deep water drilling. It'* like they see this as an acceptable risk and are trying to use the logic of Jobs (not that many for the Gulf Population as a whole) The real reason is their fat wallets are lined with oil money from many companies and like most politicians, are talking out both sides of their mouth. Fishermen/and realated employees can't afford to "buy" Congressional Seats. And they outnumber the oil rig employees many-fold.
