Ordered it from crutchfield today. Anyone have it or know about it?
Pioneer AVIC-D3 DVD Navigation Receiver

I dont know how to read maps and always get lost so this will help me greatly

Yeah, I think it'* one of the best styled double-din sat/nav systems available. It'* very easy to use and very customizable, but keep in mind that you can NOT use the satnav when you're playing a CD or DVD, unless you have planned a route (then it saves it in it'* memory). I wish I knew more about it, but I really haven't played with one that much...

Also, I assume this is for your truck? I expect to see pics

Yes its for the truck. It says it will be delivered on Saturday. I have not installed a radio in my car for over 5 years.

yeh avic-d3 is awsome. i would of got that but the avid-d2 has 2 cd slots one for gps/dvd one for cd/mp3 thats y i got the older modle

Nice! Hopefully it will be easier and more user friendly then iDrive. (heh, BMW coined that phrase before Apple)

If it works anything like mine, you can get it to play while driving if you ground the wire that'* supposed to be connected to the parking brake.
