Default Bought another Pontiac today !

It'* not a Bonneville but it is a Pontiac.

I saw it in the paper today and I just had to get it. :P
If it was a 93 Bonne, I'd have hit it too....Bill, but they are rare around these parts.

You know how hard it is to find parts for a 26 year old car.
Well maybe not where many of you all live but where I live, it'* all mail order and take your chances. :(

It'* a 1979 Trans Am WS6 very similar to my Formula. It has all its parts, is rust and bondo free, all light lens are intact, power window work, glass is all crack free and was originally the same colour as mine too....Marine Blue
It'* 6.6 L engine has headers and is tired but idled fine. A new carb was recently installed.
Some disrespectful previous owners let it go to the point where, for me, it is really just a parts car now.... even though it is running and driveable, I wouldn't be caught dead driving it.
Looks like someone tried painting it black with a spray can. T-tops leak. Seats are trash. A/C is disconnected. Gauges don't work.
It'* original 8" snowflake wheels are in good shape but tires are bald.
Missing inside door panels.
You get the picture.

Good thing there'* room in my driveway for it. Should be a great learning tool for my son.

$1000.

If the engine is in a fine shape, then you got a great deal.

If you find a 93 SSEi, you better tell the Pfamily. They haven't found one yet. And they look quite often.

Great find to keep the quick old beast alive! Cannibalism!

I am confused.

Who is the Pfamily?
And why would bying an old car be considered as cannibalism? Nobody is eating anybody.

Pfamily is:

PontiacDad
PontiacMom
PontiacJess
PontiacAndrew

All 4 are members here, and live near (if you can call it near) 2000SilverBullet up in

Cannibalism. It'* an emergency parts car for his other fast Pontiac. Paul has a Formula in addition to the SSEi. If you don't like the Cannibalism term, think of it as a potential organ donor.

Oh, allright.
Now do all these people own Bonnevilles?

And you still haven't explained about the cannibalism. --- J/K

They are all one family. (Pontiac Mom & Dad and kids) As far as I know they only have one Bonneville, the '00 SSEi, but I could be wrong.

Yes we all own Bonnevilles....just check my signature....and Pontiac Dad has an identical except different color SSEi.

Cannibalism refers to my Firebird eating my parts car Firebirds parts...or as Bill stated can also refer to organ donor (I like that ).

I don't think the 6.6L will fit in my Bonne. and I now know that the 4 3/4" bolt circle 15" wheels will not fit my Bonne'* metric pattern.
