The cop or aviator type glasses are the only ones I'll wear.
I get migraines alot and in the sun these things help sooo much. Pic: Attachment 63452 I like pizza... Edit- As for where I got them. I have no idea. This gurl gave them to me? I'm sure there cheapies. |
Sunglasses? I buy them by the case on eBay. Nobody steals a cheap crap pair ;)

Walgreens sells some great $10 polarized glasses that I use in the car. They were just running a 2-for-1 deal on them, but I'm not sure if they're still doing it. The glasses darken everything to a reasonable level, and the polarization really helps glare. I've cooked myself on a beach in Mexico and those glasses kept my eyes from even feeling the fatigue. HOWEVER.... I just got an awesome pair of Serengeti's for when I'm flying. They stay in my flight bag and only come out when I'm in the plane, but they work great. Available in many frame styles, the lense to get is what they call the "Driver" lense. You can get them polarized or non-polarized, and they greatly enhance definition and clarity of objects. The president of my flight academy swears by them; in fact, he gave me this pair for free! Long story short, go to Walgreens for good polarized cheapies, and check out Serengeti for some high-quality sunglasses. |

WTF happened to my HUD... damn polarization... Still on the hunt...and now..non polarized is part of the criteria. |
Ok I didnt read this whole thread. I myself never buy big $$$$ shades because I always break them somehow.
now for the part that brought me here :lol: the thread title....Boosted Sunglasses.... last night I'm reading the local newspaper and there was $15,000 worth of sunglasses stolen over a weeks time from the sunglass hut in the mall near me. hence. Boosted Sunglasses. :D |
