Hey don't laugh, when I was a young'un, I would take anything for a winter car. Once my brother-in-law gave me an Acadian, you know like the Chevette'*. When I picked it up it had flat tires and had a hard time starting it. When I drove it home I slowed down to a crawl, when I had it wot going up over the highway. I had to rebuild the carb, tune-up among many other things and eventually my wife and I drove it to South Carolina where the alternator went and replaced the timing belt in the parking lot of a self serve gas station on the way back. I loved that car, especially since it was free. I drove it for a couple of years until I got me another free car to fix up.
Friends called it the Frog
It was some color Ford called Dove white or some crap like that.. I referred to the color lovingly as BirdSh*t, because..if I bird did ..you'd never see it.

Hey Cody, nice to meet you.
On a different note, let me tell ya, when I was paying my mortgage starting to have kids, I didn't car what car I drove let alone the colour, as long as it was reliable and it didn't cost me much.....Price was the most important thing.

On a different note, I drove the slowest SOB around town. The lovely 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with the lame 307
This was my first car
