Default Books on auto repair/maintenance

I was wondering if anyone could recommend some good books to read up on about car repairs, maintenance, how everything works, etc. It would be really helpful for myself if I could explain problems better and get a better idea of how everything works.

Check this link to Amazon:

How Cars Work by Tom Newton

On that same page are other good informative books, like:

Auto Repair For Dummies

Road & Track Illustrated Automotive Dictionary

Popular Mechanics Complete Car Care Manual

Auto Upkeep: Basic Car Care

And much, much more...

But that'* not all!!! If you act now, you'll get this usless plastic piece of trash for only $9.99!!!!

Thanks for the recommendations. They all look pretty good and I'll hopefully order some of them soon when I get my tax refund.
