You win the prize. The 1956 Star Chief was renamed "Bonneville" in 1957. Somebody down in Los Gatos CA got their wires crossed, or got some bogus information.

My bet is that it'* actually a Star Chief. There are some unmistakable hints to that fact on the car.

Actually, I believe that it is, in fact, a Pontiac Chieftain. I remember driving one of these in sedan form at the auction I used to work at. It was the two-tone Sea-Foam Green and had every option offered that year, including a single rear speaker to go with the single speaker in-dash AM radio.
