I just noticed this, I posted and veiwed it. It said i posted at 8:05pm but its only 3:00 really. why did it do that? Does this happen to anyone else?

Set the time zone in your profile

BC server time should be in EST, I think Jeff has the server somewhere in FL

All my options in the profile are GMT + or - hours 89BonneSE89 what do you have yours set at?

EST is 5 hrs off GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) double check then +/- 5hrs by double clicking on the time at the bottom right of the corner, I'm pretty sure EST is 5 hrs later then GMT (going west to east that is)

89BonnieSE89, I was in Greenwich, England years ago while in the Navy. It was kind of neet to be standing on the 0 meridian where the GMT is referenced. ATC uses GMT in all communications to pilots. If it is 5:00pm EST it would be 10:00pm GMT.
To Convert From To Greenwich Mean Time
EST Add 5 hours
CST Add 6 hours
MST Add 7 hours
PST Add 8 hours

Red Baron, I bet you have yours set to GMT +5. You should be using GMT -5.

Aviator, mine is set to -6 for PST. That gives me the correct times.

wilwren, On a whim I just set mine to -3 EST. Appears to display the correct time now for my location. Just wondering if the server in FL is set to DST until the end of the month?
