Don't kill me. But this was just posted on our employee portal (I work for a supplier)...
Feb. 8 -- General Motors plans to stop making the Pontiac Bonneville sedan this summer due to declining sales, according to The Associated Press.
The car, introduced as a product line in 1958, sold less than 30,000 units last year, compared to about 100,000 as recently as 1992. Sales peaked at 135,401 units in 1966.
No jobs will be cut at the Detroit-Hamtramck, Michigan, U.*. factory where the Bonneville is made. The facility will continue to produce other GM cars, including the new Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS.
Johnson Controls supplies floor components and electronics for the Bonneville.

Easy Now.............
Yeah, I just had a guy at work ask me today if I thought my car might be a collectible in the next couple years now that Pontiac is dropping the Bonneville.
I didn't want to embarrass him or sound like a smart-a$$, so I just said maybe not because there were so many made, but then at the same time maybe -look at the 1957 Chevrolet. Everyone and their brother had one, or has a first-hand memory with one from back in the late 50'*, and 30 years later they became a hot-cake and they still are.

We rival best against those that design and supply automotive interiors.
