Well guys and gals some friends on mine (15 to be exact) and me built a car for the TV show pinks. Our first episode will air next wed @ 8:30 central time. If your not doing anything check it out. This episode is our first one and we have went back on since. The second episode will air two weeks following this episode next week. Our first episode might be a little lame cause we had the kid way outgunned and didn't even have to use our nitrous. The second one is supposed to be real good from what the producers are telling us.

Excellent, man!

Rich Christensen (the host) is from Iowa, and a local Iowa band called the Nadas plays the song called "Walk Away" that you hear after the losing owner hands over his car. It'll be fun to see you on there!

For the one'* that don't know the show airs on speed tv. Sorry to burst the bubble but we didn't build a bonneville. (with what i know know we should have built a bonny for our first episode) We built a 86 rustang with a 93 front end. It has a 355 sbc with vortec head and lets just say, some sauce. I have some pics of our car but don't have them hosted anywhere. Can I host them on here or do I have to host them some where else? Yes we got to keep his car. This might sound a little weird but we wanted to go back on the show till we lost our car. The only way they would let us come back on was to sell the first car we won back to the kid for $2500.00 cause we brought a car that was faster than what we where supposed to. We could have kept it and not gone back on the show but the second episode was a much better race and we wanted that car more. For those of you that have watched the show since the beginning our second episode was against a car from the first season. The WOLLY MAMMOTH its a 70'* model vega wagon that is a full blown race. Our little stang is a street car.

I've seen the show, its pretty cool, but REALLY sux for the loser.

The episode I saw, there was a race with a really young kid, he won the first race by about half a car length, then lost the 2nd, (I suppose it was a best 2 out of 3)...all I remember was it was a hopped up flat black Fox body mustang.

Make sure that you post the night before or the night of the show before it airs for a reminder to watch....(I'll forget between now and then)

It'* awesome that you guys had the time and money to sit there and build a car and run until you lose....I wouldn't be able to do that.

But I'm glad you're races went well!

they do the best of three races, if they tied, 2-2, then the go three of four races. It'* really unique too how they set up the races, and kinda interesting to see how hot everyone gets under the collar setting the handicaps and reg'* for the next race.

I forgot to add in my last post, that for posting pics, go set up an account at www.photobucket.com, then upload your pics there, and under each pic it'll give you 3 different options on what to use.....Use the very bottom one that shows this in it:

That will automatically load the pic on the posted page of the site

A demonstration for you :

Link that you use from photobucket:

That'* what it should be....but with no spaces and it'll show up like this:
