Bingo, lower intake. However we had to just take it in. It is over -30C and it is just unbearable to stand outside for any length of time. Not only that, but I'm schooling from about 9:00AM-3:30PM and working 4:30-10:30PM. I have no time right now and my Mom needs it right away.

If it were the summer it would be a different story.

Thanks for the help though. I'm pretty sure it was you who warned me this happened in every 3100'* life, Don. Spot on once again sir.

when you hang out with a shadetree you tend to pick up on things... I try...

3100'* aren't notorious for blowing head gaskets unless they are run very hot... 9 out of 10 on a 3100 it will be the intake gaskets...

After you guys have the work done, make totally sure they change the oil... And then go back again later maybe 400 or 500km and change the oil again to be safe

A good brother you are...

I have respect for the Quad engine.... But it will not tollerate what the little 3100 will... Both have alluminum heads, but if they ever popped a head gasket..... Don would rather take the 3100 apart
