I'm watching the snow level rise very closely. I can literally throw a rock into the river from my back yard. The good news is the OTHER side of the river has a slightly lower bank, but we've been close. 96 was spooky.
My house has flooded 3 times in the 'historic' past before all the dams were built. 1890, 1893, and 1900.....if memory serves. It got up to the back of the house in the 30'* once, too.

Yeah the mudslides, rock slides and all that crap has already started out here. 101 n is closed as is 18 and 22. I was working for Federal Protective Services/ FEMA for the last flood. Bad situation for alot. Hope it works in our favor this year.
