Default Blinded by the boost...

I have been a member here for quite some time (albeit, not always very active), so when I come to ask a question I've learned that it is always promptly responded to in a courteous fashion. I trust the collective opinion of the members here, which is why I bring forth this question.

Since the departure of my beloved Bonneville, I have been waiting to find the perfect replacement. I'm basically waiting for a Grand Prix GT or GTP that just "speaks" to me, in a sense. Now I come to ask a more practical question to the knowledgable people here, since I don't exactly know the answer.

Is it worth it to sacrifice mileage in order to get the GTP model (supercharged). From what I gather, the supercharger negates the problem that occurs with the UIM on 3800 engines, but what else can a GTP offer? Basically, should I go with a GT with lower miles, or a GTP with a bit more mileage. The difference usually ends up being 5k-20k mi.

Also, is it worth it to hold out for a Coupe? I've seen a few...

Except with the SC, it'* the LIM..

I can promise you if you buy a GT, you'll be wishing you got the GTP. Mileage is only about 1-2 mpg on the highway, but even my Bonny has seen 31 mpg. Doesn't the GTP come with HUD and toys like that? Pat
