Sadly, they won't. Been to far more of these than I care to remember. Usually one of a couple of scenarios... Doing something really stupid (with or without alcohol involvement) or others on the road not paying attention to what'* around them (ie bikes). Until people extract their heads from their butts and lose the attitude "That won't ever happen to me" it will continue. It only ever happens to someone else... (till it happens to you!) :(

In Alberta we had a public education message... If you don't think it can happen to you, you're just not paying attention.

Yeah that sucks. Happened here in Oklahoma. That road is known for bikers playing around stunting.

Alright, this is sad. I just kinda have a problem believing this though. Just because I don't view that as a reputable news site and thats just not how I picture someone going that fast looking after hitting a big rig.


Either way though, that sucks. Wish people would use their noggins when they are riding bikes like that. They give a lot of riders bad names. Just slow down and drive like a normal person.

The pictures look a little iffy to me (and I've been to quite a few accidents in my time as a cop), but I won't call BS because strange things happen at high speeds.

When I saw Highway 169 I was honestly surprised it wasn't the one here in MN. People drive like idiots on our 169 as well.
