The only seasonal job I had was a camp counselor for a kid'* summer camp program. It wasn't an overnight camp, but it was still a fun job. I worked at BK one summer many many years ago, that wasn't so fun.

My best seasonal job was being a deli guy. The grocery store I worked at was owned by a family I knew, so I could get away with murder and they wouldn't care. The job itself wasn't that bad, either, except for some snooty rich people. I even had one very angry lady that made the owners write me up for not smiling. God I hate snooty people. arg.

Definitely my stint at the auction. Inspecting was a cold, nasty job, but I liked it. However the most fun was when I started at the auction as a driver, before I moved up to inspector. I got to drive some unbelievable cars. Mercedes, BMWs, Vettes, Vipers, Audis, Caddies, antiques, utility stuff...but the most "fun" was the beaters. I had a Bronco shed a passenger door while taking a left. Almost took out a Civic in the outer turn lane, and when I stopped a little ways down the road and went to get the door, I came back and the frame had collapsed! I sat and watched while pieces just started falling off the thing. By the time the tow truck got there, the back seat had fallen through the floor, into the rusted gas tank, and the glass in the tailgate had fallen into the door and shattered.
Then there was the 92 Camaro that shed the entire right front suspension on the back half of the lot, and caused me to take out two Volvos in the bank repo line...

Ah yes. My first "paying" job. I think I made more in tips at the end of the season(8 weeks) then I was paid by the camp.

I don't think I would call it my BEST Seasonal Job. It was my ONLY one!!!

Seasonal job huh? I worked at Opryland as a teen...first I did just the summers, then did summers and Christmas. It was nice to work with cute girls from other schools, and actually went out on many dates thanks to that place. Too bad it got leveled in the late 90'*
