My 64 Catalina Sport Coupe. High School car/Great times.
My 70 GTO. Mad fast.
Girl Friend'* 80 Firebird/Indy Pace Car edition. Wasnt fast but brand new. Both were nice finds.
My '05 GXP. The last of the Bonneville'* .
OK, I guess it cant be all about me, LOL. My very favorite Pontiac is the 1960 Bonneville 2 Door Coupe X400 Convertible.
The X editions were very limited production for Shows,
Dealers, and a priveleged few. They came out from '59-'64. The 1960 had the most unique styling I had ever seen for it'* day. It had a shortened body that became the basis for the Catalina.

The 389 cid engine came with 4 Carter carburetors strapped to a Latham Axial Flow Supercharger. These superchargers are the epitome of efficiency and boost, but cost and warranty concerns kept GM from ever offering them to the general public.

It was coupled to a bullet proff Borg Warner T10 tranny, and even had Factory Exhaust cutouts to run open headers with a pull of the white handle lever on the console to let the boosted engine breathe. Even the Stainless Steel floor mats screamed "Sporty". Notice the Checkered Flag at the top of the Console. Something they put back into the Bonneville with the GXP Logo.

The interior was astonishing for its day with full instrumentation and alot of chrome
Even the rear seat with it'* emblem and the ragtop enclosure screamed style and individuality
Truly the finest to ever come out of the Pontiac Stable.

I love the old TAs. Smokey and the Bandit style- my brother had a 78, and what I loved about his was everyone was going for black back then, his was midnight blue with t-tops, screaming eagle on hood was silver . God, I loved that car. Crazy fast.
