As a first and foremost RWD Toyota guy, the movie did an awesome job of defacing the whole drifting thing and creating general *** towards what used to be something grassroots and original.

Right, and I totally agree, but I was referring to the more recent chase scenes. Didn't Gone in 60 seconds come out in like '99?
I totally understand where you're coming from, I mean, they pretty much created the ricer scene, in my opinion, and now we're seeing escorts with coffee can exhausts at D1 races. But ya gotta admit the chase was cool by itself

That old beater had a hell of a suspension setup to do that.

Yeah, what a joke. The chase was alright, but the end was so lame. He flips about ten times, and supposedly by looking at the beginning had nothing more than a lap belt on, or no seat belt, and yet he is just a little banged up.
