yea, we left some pop out on the deck, and they exploded, it was sweet...

Just stick em in some ice salt water mixture, like 30 minutes before you wanna drink em, they'll be nice n cold. (Mythbusters rocks :P )

They wil usuallyl crack while freezing, but if they don't, when they thaw, the CO2 in the beer will pop the bottles. It happened to a friend who works at a gas station, some of the bottles didn't go off until days later.

Actually, that little tidbit came from Mom. Back in the day, she worked at a grocery, and they got a load of beer in frozen. They put them on the shelves, and a couple hours later, they started just randomly exploding.

I have actually had the same thing happen to me. Beer outside, frozen solid. bring it inside and a few hours later they explode.


Either way, I won't drink beer after it is frozen. BUT, my favorite way is to have it outside during winter months and have it sooo cold that ice JUST starts to form inside the can. I like my beer very VERY COLD

That is because if the liquid is perfectly still it can drop below freezing but remain in liquid form, when it is then aggitated it will rapidly expand and freeze.
