Tropical Storm #1 is on its way to Florida. Hurricane season ain't wasting any time this year!

Thats whats nice about NY... no hurricanes, twisters, golf ball sized hail storms, or earthquakes. All we get is 5 months of winter with a blizzard or two thrown in every decade.

Not this again!!! Luckily I don't really get the full effects of hurricanes where I live but we do get some rain and some slight wind. When Katrina hit we got inundated with evacuees and I felt so bad for them. I hope this year will be mild.

I was here for all of them that year...Bonnie, Charles, Ivan....luckilly, power didn't once go out on me, but cable was out for a while. That sucked.
