what about rebuilding your unit, probably a bit more expensive but if you get a eaton lsd or something like that you will be better off than the gm locker its pretty weak for off road and snow with bigger tires.

Hmm if my case didnt have a huge hole in it id consider it......Its not something id feel comfortable welding and being confident itd be strong...Its no bigge im buying an intrepid tomorrow for the time being till next week when i get the camaro on the road then it will either get resold or be a backup

ya your probably better off if you got hole like that, they made all kinds of those i wouldnt think you would have a hard time getting a newer axle.

hopefully not a 2.7 intrepid, they all have bad engine problems
